Life is so good...!

Jimmy celebrated his first Father's Day this year and it was wonderful! Emme of course tried to steal the show! She is a TOTAL ham...she can be in a total mood and when she sees the red light on the camera, she starts smiling on cue! That is what my dad and Jimmy are laughing at in the picture below!

Smiling with her Daddy on Father's Day!
We think she will be crawling soon! Little baby push ups!

Here is Emme sitting in her big girl chair eating (well trying at least!) oatmeal, her current favorite!

All smiles in her high chair!

She sat up by herself on this day so of course, I took about 50 pictures...!

Emerson getting some love from her Mommy and Daddy!

Life is good...Emerson is our life! She changes everyday and we are excited by every movement, glance and sound she makes. We can not get enough of our sweet girl. We love her so much and are so proud to be her parents. What a gift she is..!

The happy, fun days of Summer!

These past few weeks have been a whirl wind! We have a lot to share with our family and friends about little Miss Emme's adventures! She has started sitting up with help but will remain sitting by herself without us holding on to her. She is still a bit unsteady but she is getting there! I can't remember if I posted last time that she is very clearly saying "da da"! Talk about proud! Her daddy was (and still is!) floating on cloud 9! She occassionally says "ma ma" but just this week started saying it more regularly. It melts me EVERY time!!

We have been very lucky to have had visits from many different people in the last few weeks! We love having company and sharing our sweet angel with others! Below are a few snapshots with our recent company!

Emerson and her friend Kaylyn. They (okay I..) have been wanting for quite sometime to get pictures of them in matching outfits! So cute these two...!

Here they are again. They were very good little girls as their parents took a million photos of them!

We also had a very special visit from Emerson's Uncle Josh! This is the first time she has every gotten to meet him so she was very excited..Pay no attention to the "deer in the headlights" look..!

Lastly, we had 2 very special visitors this past weekend. Emerson's cousins Jerry and Patsy came to visit from California. We all had a great time! It is always fun to hear their stories and to get to see them. Emerson was amazed to find out that they have as much energy as she does!

Here is the whole group!

I will post more later! It says I have met my upload quota for this posting...More to come!
