Spring has Sprung!

We are enjoying yet another season with Miss Emerson. She loves to be outside and really enjoys the time we have spent outdoors. Today, I took her out in front of the house to get these pictures with the beautiful tulips that have popped up.

This year was also Emerson's first shot at going to the Military Ball that Wentworth hosts. I got her all ready to go complete with her fancy dress, shoes and pig tails. She was looking pretty sharp! I had a dress to match hers and even Daddy bought a pink shirt so we would all coordinate! We went to dinner with some friends and part way through, she decided this was NOT her thing. Jimmy had to pack her up and take her to Grandma Kaye's house so we could eat dinner and go to the Ball. So, she didn't actually make it to the big event, but we got some good pictures none the less!

Another Happy Holiday...!

This was Emerson's first Easter and we did it up right! She had a fancy Easter dress complete with matching coat and bonnet. She was really cute and slept like an angel at church. She really loves the music!

We followed church up with another outfit change (of course)! She received many stuffed animals in her Easter Basket along with several books and even a little bit of candy ;)

It was a wonderful day spent with family. Emerson is amazing and really makes the holidays a little bit sweeter!

Easter Basket or No Easter Basket....THAT is the question..!

We took Emerson to see the Easter Bunny for the first time on Tuesday evening. He was making his appearence at the Independence Center. It was also her first visit to the mall which was pretty exciting for me too! She was very patient in line but by the time it was her turn to sit on the cotton tail's lap, she was going to have NONE of it....

You want me to do what?! Sit on who's lap?!

Not making nice with the Easter Bunny....

Hopefully, we will make a better impression next year! ;)

It has been awhile since I have had time to post some new pictures on the blog...I have been really busy...I always have time to take pictures of Emerson though!

She is 4 months old today! Where does time go?

Things that make you say Hmmmmmm.....

Emerson fell asleep like this one night this week while we were laying together on the couch. She slept like this for a long time and I thought it was too funny not to share! It is obvious that she is going to be a great thinker ;)

Of course I had to get in on the action too! There is never a dull moment at the Worthington house!

Tummy Time!

I had to put these pictures out! We have been trying to let Emerson spend a little more time on her tummy now that we have her reflux issues under control. These are pictures we havetaken recently...TOO funny!

MIZ-ZOU!

Little Miss Emerson is making her daddy proud! Already she is turning into an MU fan. This morning she happily let me dress her up in her MU duds. I even topped her off with an black and gold bow! She came with me to lunch today at work where everyone was watching the KU game. It was obvious who we are rooting for this weekend!
